...are we ready for it?
Unconditional love is known as affection without any limitations. This term is sometimes associated with other terms such as true altruism, complete love, or "mother's love" [Wikipedia]. But are we ready for that?
Don Miguel Ruiz in his exellent book »The Mastery of Love« affirms that we never wish that our dog would be better at being a dog, and we love it freely just as it is. Yet with our mate we tend not to accept them as they are, we expect them to be different, to act in ways they would not naturally act. Ruiz tells us that humans hunt for love because we don't have it. We don't have it within ourselves.
In 2009 I had the possibility to feel a bit of this unconditional love. To let someone go, even if it hurts. However, this situation opened my heart to miracles. On 31 October 2009 a Mediterranean monk seal female visited me on Kamenjak peninsula, Istria. But after a while, she disappeared. Officially almost extinct.
